EARLY INTERVENTION

Early interventionists work closely with the local Early Steps program that offers services to eligible infants and toddlers (birth to thirty-six months) with significant delays or a condition likely to result in a developmental delay. EI is provided to support families and caregivers in developing the competence and confidence to help their child learn and develop. This is done through a parent coaching model and consultations with providers on a child’s team. There is no charge for this program.
